Your home board is the first thing you'll see in Milanote when you sign up. It's your private space to organise all your boards in Milanote. Understanding your home board is essential for getting started with Milanote, but don't worry—it's easy!
Unique features of the home board
The home board cannot be shared, even with people on your team. You won't see the share button on your home board.
When boards are shared with you, they'll end up on the home board in "Unsorted" on the right of your home board. Then, you can manually place them anywhere.
The home board is the default location for images saved with the Milanote web clipper.
Getting to the home board
You can always get to the home board via the navigation on the top left. On mobile, you can hit the back button at the top of the app until you are back home.

Your home board is always private. If you want to share the content that's on your home board, you'll need to
Create a new board (on your home board)
Drag and drop the content you want to share into the new board
Double-click on the new board to open it
Click Share in the top right
Can I use templates on my home board?
The home board does not have templates. For ideas on how to arrange it, check out these examples for organizing your home board.
Can I export the home board?
You can't export the home board, but you can export every other board. You'll need to move the content you want to export into another board to get the process started.
