Embedding audio tracks into your boards

Updated over a week ago

The Audio card in Milanote lets you embed and play audio tracks directly in your boards. You can use links from popular services like SoundCloud, Spotify, Deezer, Amazon Music, or you can upload your own audio track.

Embedding an audio track

  1. Open your preferred audio platform (like Spotify or SoundCloud) and find the track you want to embed

  2. Click the Share button on the platform and copy the link

  3. In Milanote, drag the Audio card from the toolbar onto your board

  4. Paste the audio link into the Audio card. Milanote will automatically convert the link into an embedded player

Supported services
You can embed audio from a wide range of platforms, including:

  • Spotify

  • SoundCloud

  • YouTube Music

  • Bandcamp

  • Mixcloud

  • Apple Music (via shared links)

  • Vimeo (for audio/video content)

Interacting with audio players
Once embedded, you can play, pause, and scrub using the controls within the card. The experience depends on the source platform but generally includes basic playback features.

Uploading your own audio file

You can also upload your own audio files by dragging them directly onto the board or into an Audio card. If you upload your own file, you'll have the option to auto-play and loop the audio, similar to video cards.

Supported audio files you can upload

mp3, m4a, mid, wav, wave, amr, 3ga, mka, mpa, opus, oga, pkf
