FAQs

What's the difference between the Copy, Duplicate, and "Create Synced copy" options?

The duplicate option creates a new copy instantly cascading from the original element.

Copy is a standard copy-and-paste function and will require you to paste the element. If you right-click the board to paste, it will paste the element directly where you right-clicked.

Synced copies are notes that will display the same text everywhere. Look out for the "There are other copies of this card" message at the bottom of a note. If you see this label, editing the card will edit all other instances of the note!

What is a board shortcut?

If you see this icon, the tile is a shortcut that takes you to the original location of the content. It does not act as a copy of the board, so make sure you duplicate the original board if you are trying to make multiple versions with different elements.
