Do you charge VAT in the EU & UK?
Milanote is an Australian company, however we are registered for VAT in the UK and EU.
For business customers, if you enter a valid VAT ID during checkout, VAT is generally not charged under the reverse charge mechanism.
If no valid VAT ID is provided, VAT will be charged based on your country’s local rate.
How do I add a VAT number to my Milanote account?
Log in to Milanote
Go to Settings (in the top right of the screen)
Choose View billing details
Select Add billing details / tax ID—this opens our secure payment platform (Stripe)
Choose Update information and enter your VAT number
Important: Please enter your VAT number in the correct format for your country—including any letters at the beginning (for example, DK12345678 for Denmark, DE123456789 for Germany, etc.)
